Jack Brooks is an ordinary (besides being Canadian) man, who has an ordinary pluming job, with ordinary phobia's. Unfortunately, these phobia's were not spawned by ordinary tragedies.
As a boy, Jack Brooks witnessed the horrible murder of his parents and family. From there, the story you witness is his eternal struggle with memories of death and fear, until his girlfriend Eve enrolls him into a self help class. Unforseen in this dead end in his life, a destiny far greater than he could ever imagine waits for him.
Quote from the article : "Evil awakens as Jack unknowingly disturbs the grounds surrounding Professor Crowley 's dilapidated old home. Lured by this ancient demonic power, Crowley discovers a monstrous black heart that quickly forces its way into him. Possessed by the heart now beating in his chest, the Professor starts a slow, gruesome, transformation... One night, as Crowley bursts into a creature of legends, Jack finally discovers the true purpose of his rage as he attempts to save the lives of his classmates and learns that you can't run from your past..."
Good old Canadia, it's films like this and shows like Ren & Stimpy that I feel I can truly love again. This film is to be a light hearted comedy horror, think 80's Ash (Bruce Campbell) meets Dead Alive. Unfortunately for us, this movie hasn't made it to the states yet. I'm sure alot of our neighboring friends have gotten a chance to see this, but the release date has the dreaded TBA (To Be Announced) tag.
This film looks like it has alot going for it, and it's comedy style is right around my corner. It uses animatronics instead of CGI effects, while still departing away from the "B" movie genre. Trailer below Destructoid! What do you think about this film?
Big thanks to... whoever suggested this movie to me weeks ago!

Nice to see Robert Englund still kicking around.

You guys are clearly overlooking the movie poster here. Hot Canadian babes and tentacle rape!
Rawr!
Lol..yeah.I'll be checking this out as well.
OH CANADA, YOU SUCK EXCEPT FOR THIS.
I miss when movies had awesome illustrated posters like this. Fuck you, Hollywood, and your terrible photoshopped shiny eyed promo stills.
