So far I think this looks like the most badass movie in history. It's gonna give The Machine Girl a run for Movie of the Universe.

Pretty badass as long as they don't try to make the story too serious. like in the last AVP. GODDAMNIT it's AVP!!! I don't need a damn story to tell me why these guys are fighting!!

@Heretic . Incorrect a movie with Aliens, Predators and Space Marines will be so awesome that the universe as we know it will cease to exist.
I agree, if they made a futuristic setting with Space Marines, that'd be pretty cool. I think they really wanted to go somewhere with this 'Predalien' though, so unfortunatley we have to wait.
But it's not a BAD story arc, just not the one we want.
This movie is going to kick incomprehensible amounts of ass. I love the fact that the predator on their home world or whatever reviews all of what just happened, picked up his shit and just goes out like its all good. No back up, no warning FUCK THAT

I don't care what most people thought of the last "Alien" movie, but I want a 5th movie in that particular series... and I want the Predators to just kinda... "stop by" for some fun :p

also, why can't hollywood make one movie that doesn't have "characters" and relations and yadayadayada. thats what bringing awesome archetypes like alien and predator down. is it so hard? for once, i'd like to see that.
because, either you go fucking alien1979, which had the best character interaction ever, or alien resurrection. and we all know how that turned out...
Since when did aliens complete their transformation to full grown adults in 2 seconds? Why didn't the dad take off his jacket? Why does this have to take place in "our time"? Why can't this just be a video game?

The first 5 minutes looked better than the whole previous AVP film.
it was obviously cut together. i don't think thats the actual first five minutes. if it is, its the most poorly edited movie ever.
also, the sound is bad. reserving judgment for a non-youtube watch when it comes out.
Yeah, it was cool, but it was moving WAY too fast for me. I didn't expect them to pick up RIGHT where the first movie left off, so I though that was pretty cool. I think the movie will be an improvement, and I also hope they cut out some footage like xper said, or else it really IS poorly edited...
