Who am I? I'm Tobbii Karlsson. I grew up with videogames, whether it was text-based James Bond adventures made for DOS or kicking ass on Bomberman's multiplayer I was there and had a good time. I consider myself an anti-fanboy as I don't take the side of any console manufacturer, but rather play on whatever I can get my hands on, does that mean I don't have systems I prefer? Of course not, but I don't like a system just because it's a certain logo slapped on it.

I'm also an amateur film-maker trying to get some projects going, I have a blog where I do a bunch of stupid things (Let's Plays, Humour Reviews, Vlogs and whatever) and a secondary blog where I'm more serious and do things about gaming (Podcasts, Actual Reviews, Serious Articles and such). I'm mostly known at Destructoid for my sucki-- I mean, my tributes to various writers. Whether it's the Destructoid Gingerbread Show, the Talking to Women about Videogames cover or me having sex with a cookie shaped like Jim Sterling on his birthday. Yeah, I did that.

Since this review is not for my 16'th Anniversary Celebration, it's posted on my regular review blog, Achievement Unlock, here's a snippet and a link! :D

A genre that is getting less and less attention from developers every year, franchises turning into pure action shooters is nothing new and it seems like we might have to accept that its era might have passed. But with Resident Evil: Revelations, Capcom has promised to change this. Advertised as a true Survival Horror game, the 3DS title chose to go against the style of the latest Resident Evil games, but is to its favour? Let's find out."

Its a good review, I don't think it needs all that much more detail. Only real place I'd say it'd need more detail is in an explanation of the story, but so many people get up in arms over spoiler BS, and everyone's definition of a spoiler is so different, that its better off only mentioning the story in passing, unless theres something truly amazing or horrendous that the story does.

Yeah, I hate detailing story as I'm myself a very spoiler-fearing person. I am doing a separate post later on about specific story issues I feel Capcom fucked up.

Agreed with the 7ish area - I liked it, but I felt like the actual story/action scenes were unfun and poor. Also, I hope we never see Jackass and Grinder ever again.

Wasn't Keith in Resident Evil 5? Or is my mind making things up for some reason. I actually did like Keith you see, but yeah, I never want to see Quint again either. However, I NEED to see Parker again, I love that man, he's awesome.

I almost gave the game an 8, but in the end I couldn't. Still, a 7.5 is a great score in my book.
