If I'm not at uni working then I'll either be at home playing computer games, working on uni stuff or going to Ju-Jitsu (I currently hold an orange belt in that)....Oh and drinking my alcohols of the month

Gamer Creates Real-Life WipeOut Video Game With R/C Car

Note: I realise this is my first dtoid blog in nearly 18 months. While this might seem like I haven't been a part of the great Destructoid community, believe me I've been here checking the site many times daily. I guess I've been keeping a low profile.

Anyway, whilst browsing my car news website of choice, Jalopnik, I came across this article. Here, a guy has created a Wipeout style track and races an R/C car around it. The best part is that there's a camera attached to the car and the cat is controlled via a steering wheel located in an arcade unit - how awesome!

It might look that great right now, but it shows proof of concept and I'd be interested in seeing what he does in the future with this

Since I can't get the embed video thing working I'll post a link to the page where I found said article

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
