Warhammer Online Release Date Announced

I know that like me, many of you have been waiting and waiting and waiting for WAR to come out. Well, rest assured that Warhammer now has a release date!

Warhammer Online will be released on September 18th 2008

It feels closer than ever and anticipation is only going to get greater. Along with the released date, monthly prices were announced

* Monthly Subscription: $14.99 USD
* 3-Month Subscription: $41.97 ($13.99 per month)
* 6-Month Subscription: $77.94 ($12.99 per month)

Along with this huge bit o' news we get the news that those that pre ordered and get into open beta will be able to download the open beta files and client August 15th. No word on when the OB servers will be open.

So hopefully we will be playing the Open Beta by next Saturday and we'll see if WAR really lives up to our expectations.

I'm hoping for WAR to at least destroy Conan. Hopefully it will climb its way up to the top and give Warcraft a run for its money.
