Warhammer Online Minimum Specs Revealed

If you're like me, you've been eating up every bit of information given, and waiting impatiently for Warhammer Online. Even after they announced that they're cutting 4 capital cities and 4 classes I didn't falter from my love of this game. I still can't wait for the inevitable epic keep battles and city sieges. But I wasn't sure if my computer could run it, or if it would be a complete mess like AoC.

But my worries have been laid to rest as the specs have been revealed and they're not ridiculous at all. Upcoming Copy Pasta

PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

For Windows XP

· 2.5 GHz P4 (single core) processor or equivalent
· 1 Gigabyte RAM

Laptop versions of these chipsets may work, but may run comparatively slowly. Standalone cards that are installed in vanilla PCI slots (not PCIe or PCIx or AGP), such as some GeForce FX variants, will perform poorly. Integrated chipsets such as the ATI Xpress and the NVIDIA TurboCache variants will have low settings selected, but should run satisfactorily.

Please note that attempting to play the game using video hardware that isn’t listed above may result in reduced performance, graphical issues or cause the game to not run at all.

The NVIDIA GeForce FX series is unsupported under Vista.

With more and more solid news coming out, we can only hope this means the open beta is coming soon, and soon after that, release. Until then, WAAAAAGH!

@Sleep - Indeed. Although considering the whole Race Vs Race thing I'm thinking we'll most likely all have to be the same race.

I'm a FOR CHAOS! guy all the way, but others might be all "WAAAGH!" for the Orcs.

Yay! Both my computers can run this!

As for the guild thing, we have already started to organize on Vent/Gtalk. It seems most D-toiders want to be Destruction so plan on that. I'll post more details when they come up.

i have been playing the beta, and i keep seeing a lot of people running from zone to zone... to level their toons..

(i have been playing the destruction side)

but i get the feeling, once i reach the right level, all the races will be working together
