Which one is Dawn of War again?
The first series was too low budget, although I am kind of in love with the WH40k universe. The fiction behind it is insanely deep for something that seemed to have started out so basic and shitty.
Relic has Company of Heroes under their belt now though so maybe some more money will be pumped into this franchise. Like Warcraft III production values I'll settle for.
Oh and thanks for breaking this story for me.

I was looking forward to the MMO because I'm a whore but I'm also looking forward to DoW2 now as well. The 40k universe rocks but I was also a bit disappointed in the first Dawn of War.

Yeah ive been pretty busy with my animation deadline coming up at the start of may, so I may dissapear again for a whiles - I just wanted to drop this story so I could share my joy with fellow Dtoiders. And many fappings.
@Genmo: Yeah I reckon this is going to be a higher budget and all round higher quality game. Ive heard the CoH engine was pretty awesome, and DoW is certainly bringing the sexy back in full force.
Wow man I can't wait to get my hands on this, DoW was the best strategy game I ever played!
I can't wait for this, hopefully all the main races will feature this time

yeah, it looks pretty, but im not so sure about the down scaling. I would have like an upscalling if anything. A few hundred marines, for example.
I imagine it will still be good, but i'm not entirely sure why they have called it DoW. With only the rumored six units, i'm presuming theres little to none base building going on, and therefore passes little resemblance to dawn of war.
time will tell (@AgHz: and i'll still be better than you at it...noob)
@ longrun: Im not one with the newb avatar! :-P Also, im going to train over summer and then kick yo ass bitch! More marines would mean more multitasking - fuck that, I think its going to be easier to handle and less of the zerg rushes from imperial gaurd an the likes
Sp long as DoW2 is more like the table top, allowing for a greater range of wargear (jump packs for example) i'll be happy.
