About 2 weeks ago I went to my parents house for dinner and had a great time seeing the grandparents, playing with the dogs, and just catching up at a BBQ. I got home at about 11:30 that night to find my living room under water. The water is still flowing out of the vents and the ceiling fan right on to my coffee table. The best part.... thats where my laptop always sits.I pick up my comp and water just starts pouring out, I just know its fucked. Finally the water stops and I get everything cleaned up the best I could and vowed to track down my landlord in the morning. Come to find out the AC busted a line on the roof and flowed into just my apt. I tell the landlord what happened and demand he compensate me for the laptop. He agrees to "take it to his guy to look at it". But not before giving me the run-around about technically he doesn't have to do anything according to the renters agreement. He give it back to me 3 days later and said it was a virus that shut down my comp and that there was no water damage in it. It worked for about 3 days before it completely took a shit. And now he won't do anything for me. Yeah, I know this is long but I had to rant. And if anyone could help out with my avatar problem, that would be great.
