The week is about to come to an end and what a crazy week it has been. First of all the week was full of interesting video game news, most notably the release of new Guitar Hero 4 information and the first trailer for Call of Duty 5. As for me personally I finally beat Metal Gear Solid 4 this weekend, which was quite the send off for me seeing that I have played almost every Metal Gear game that ever came out. I must admit it was a crazy week, so just like last weekend I thought I would share some of my random thoughts.



1) MGS4 was one of the best games I have played this generation. The game had me hooked from start to finish and I honestly did not want it to end. I feel a little empty inside now that it’s all over.

2) I really want to play through MGS4 again, but seeing that I still have Mario Galaxy, God of War 2, and Gears of Way to play, I don’t think I will get to any time soon.

3) I downloaded N+ this weekend on XBLA and the game is extremely addictive. The game also drives me completely insane. The fact some levels can take me only 10 seconds to beat while other can take upwards of 30 minutes is extremely frustrating. If I’m not careful I’m going to end up throwing my controller across the room and breaking it one of these times.

4) I want to log onto Team Fortress 2 to play the Pyro and try to get some of the new achievements, but I can’t because there are to many people already doing that. Before the new patch came out no one played the class. Now that the Pryo is the new “Cat’s Meow” everyone and their mother wants to play it. UGH !!!

5) I don’t understand why everyone is so damn excited about the fact COD5 has a flame thrower in it. People are acting like they have never played a FPS with a fucking flame thrower in it before. Have these people been living in a cave all these years? WTF!

6) Speaking of COD5, the new trailer in absolutely no way impressed me. I will not be purchasing another WW2 title …. ever !!!

7) I will admit openly and honestly that Guitar Hero 4 looks freaking awesome, but I will never buy this game. For all intensive purposes it is Rock Band, which I already own, and I refuse to own 2 sets of plastic drums, 2 USB microphones, and 4 plastic guitars.

8) Ubisoft stated this week that it will be quite a while before they release Assassin’s Creed 2. I hope they are using all this extra time to correct all of the mistakes the first game made.
