ZOMG! Ness is dead!

Or at least that's what I gather from today's post.

You see, since Spanish is my first language I'm just a bit confused with Sakurai's statement "There�s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar."

The meaning of that "up until now" leaves me just a little bit of doubt (or is it wishful thinking?) as if Ness really got his ass handed by Lucas. And since most of Lucas's moves are quite similar to the ones of Ness, his future is dire.

How do you, my fellow Destructoiders feel about this tragic turn of events? or is there someone ready to dance on Ness's grave?

I think Lucas looks to be more fun to play than Ness, anyway. No big loss to me. No more clones! Ness is dead! Long live Lucas! :D

Earthbound was one of my fav games evar!1! He needs to be in it... please Nintendo... please, just for memory sake.

Well, today was the day that all hope was lost for Ness, because when Lucas was announced it wasn't certain he would REPLACE Ness, I foolishly thought that they could never backstab him.
