Hell yes Cody. Now both of my favorite Alpha characters are in the game. But damn, he's still in jail? Isn't this like, 10 years after SFA or something?
And I second Yoj1mb0, where the hell is Dudley? And Makoto?
Mildly disappointed with the appearance of Cody, but glad to see Adon and Guy. And of-course Adon has to be jacking up Sag in the images...get ready for jaguar teeth and whatnot.
If there's only 8 new chars, I'd expect Dudley and that other new character (the arab wrestler guy who likes oil who was rumored), if it's 10 new chars, then I'd expect Makato and Ibuki to also show up. Pumped...

Yes! The jaguar is back! I loved using his wall-jump kick to grief the hell out of people. Here's hoping he's just as gloriously cheap as ever.
@ShawnKelfone: Totally agreed. I was disappointed when he wasn't in Marvel vs. Capcom back in 1998. To this day, the Haggar vs. Zangief dream match remains unrealized.
Zangief already has all of Haggar's moves. Haggar would just be a carbon copy of the Red Cyclone at this point, so the best you're going to get is Zangief's alternate costume.

yeah, they definately coulda gone for some more interesting choices. Guy, Rolento and Adon woulda been aight, but Cody is kinda.. eh

yea the choices arent the best at all from the alpha cast but its better than nothing at this point.
Since I kinda skipped over the Alpha games, could anyone explain how Guy plays or what his best moves are? Is he any good?

Char: Guy is a fast combo crazy dude. A lot of mixups. Go try yourself a copy of alpha 2 or 3 to check him out. No chi moves (fire/electric etc.) but lots of flips.
Cody.. on the other hand, can throw rocks at people.
Speaking of... would it kill capcom to put some rival schooles characters in SF4? COME ON.
Cody + Knife = no whiffing.
Cody holding the knife punished a lot of pokes and hurt for it. Plus he had a Vism infinite IIRC (along with Karin). Plus he could dodge ground high/mid/projectile attacks in Vism like KoF old dodge (S groove in CvS2). (which was rather pimp. Could even dodge Bison's Boss Psycho crusher version.)
I'm hyped! The kunai makes this news much better, too!
