Thanks to yet again Famitsu for the better pics.
From the looks, it appears to be a 2.5d rather than just straight 2d. A few scans here...ther other below. I also wonder why the Capcom characters can't have their regular looks for SFIV. Cause this looks awesome yet SFIV character models are way overmuscular. Anyway, pics.

I'd also kill to get Casshern's live action movie costume as an alternate.
I can't wait to see who else gets in. I think we're going to get really memorable backgrounds, and hopefully...music.
Japanator spotted a bunch of characters in the original scan:
"Upon closer inspection, the magazine scans reveal that characters from the Tekkaman series, the Time Bokan universe (of which Yatterman is part of), Hurricane Polymar, and Hakushon Daimaou will also definitely be making appearances - though specific names have yet to be divulged."
Other shows that Tatsunoko produced include: Maya the Bee, Speed Racer, Samurai Pizza Cats, The Soultaker, and Nurse Witch Komugi-chan.
I seriously hope Capcom put some diversity in this. I get tired of seeing Capcom Vs. [company name] when it turns out to be Street Fighter cloggin up 95% of the cast and maybe 1-3 non Street Fighters.
Also that stage really makes me pine for a new megaman legends
If Capcom are anything to go by, they make a solid VS game, Cap VS SNK 2 ?

My interest and erection have been piqued, sir. Speed Racer vs. Ryu? The waves of awesome rolling off of the game may very well blow my head off of my shoulders.
Not to terribly fond of the Ryu model... the SF:IV models may seem overly muscular, but at least his arm doesn't look like it's going to fall off from his shoulders in SF:IV.
Also, yes, pizza cats, please.
