As you all know, pirates suck. Today is The Day of the Ninja, the far superior answer to Talk Like a Fagball- er, Pirate Day. In celebration of this momentous, stealthily ninjariffic day, I present to you a video extravaganza, a veritable nexus (Nex? *cries*) of Japanese junk-kicking awesomeness that will blow your motherfucking face off and stab it repeatedly with 16-inch-long sais. So please, enjoy, my ninja brethren.
First up is a mini-documentary about the greatest rap song about ninjas ever written.
Next up, the Surf Ninjas trailer. Oh yeah, I went there.
This is a classic, classic episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, cut up into five parts. Lee Van Cleef is Master Ninja! (In part two, watch closely around four fifths of the way through - Crow's head falls apart.)
Finally, I'll close this out with, perhaps, the greatest ninjas of all: The first episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (in three parts).
Man, I was jamming to the Ice when this funky beat was first released. When I hear "ninja," I hear "Ninja Rap." You better believe I got there first. ;)
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
