Let's try defining hardcore before we try and define ourselves with mentioned attribute first.
To me, a hardcore gamer is a person who always wants the best out of his system, setup and environment. He will not stop paying for equipment, games, platforms, bonus content (sigh), or Limited Editions.
Now, I apply to some of the above, but certainly not all of them.
On a final call, let's say I'm 50% hardcore, and 50% casual.
Well well, look at the beauty down there. I believe the quality of the textures, animation and models is out of question. To me, [thought I'd never say this] this almost looked like real life footage. Almost.
What's left to find out though, whether it's actual ingame rendering, realtime cinematics, or pre-rendered bullshit. I pick the one in the middle.
Now if only I gave two craps about UFC, I'd sign up for this game.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
