I'm not sure when this was posted but I just noticed it. The daily updates for Smash Bros. will be on a temporary hiatus as of right now. At least I'll be able to go to bed earlier instead of waiting for these things every night... From the official site:

All seven languages of Smash Bros. Dojo will take a year-end holiday break from posting following December 28. We plan to resume posts on January 7.

I enjoy the updates but they've been pretty uninterested for the last few months and the game is so close that I'd rather just wait to play it now. I'm going to try and avoid Japanese spoilers since they get the game early. I'll be enjoying it a week earlier than most of you though since a couple of my friends work at Nintendo. And by the way, why the hell isn't the original N64 version on the Virtual Console yet? I liked it a lot better than Melee...

Haha, BBCode works on a regular line. It will got down to the next line if it is a run-on sentence so to speak.

If you want to do a Hard line break (pressing Enter/Return), you need to treat it like a SEPARATE BBCode victim.

Also, I like Melee much more than the original. Hopefully Brawl will be so good that I'll say the same thing about it in relation to Melee.

I'm hoping Brawl will be the sequel I never got. I found Melee so bad that I never bought it...and I'm a huge Smash fanboy. But since I have the opportunity to get Brawl early and cheap, I'm going to take it and pray that it's good. I'll probably force myself to like it since it has online play, though I've been playing the 64 version online with an emulator.

I'm hearing Brawl is more like the 64 version anyway so it sounds like I don't have anything to worry about.

How could you love the original and not Melee? There's nearly no difference.

Where are you hearing Brawl is more like the 64 version? I've only heard of it being alike in really inessential ways, like the creative character-entrances returning.
