I think you should add more text, moar pics, and less fail.

I think you should write what you think as your post is itty bitty.
I think a gaming tax is dumb, global warming and our gas useage is fucked compared to some overweight fat kids. Parents let their kids sit all day and game thats their fault, why should we have to pay.
Well its only potentially happening in new mexico and its only going to be 1%. I really don't think its an issue. Let New Mexico piss off its gamers, I don't care.
Not a big issue but it doesn't surprise me. I since the US doing the same fairly soon.
I think I am the only one who thinks this isn't a bad idea. For the amount of games we buy as gamers in a whole year I wouldn't mind shelling out an extra 4 or 5 dollars so my city can be cleaner and safer.
Yeah, I do think it's old news.
So, is this where we all grab boxes of games and start throwing them off a dock somewhere while dressed as Master Chief?
Old news, my site had a story about a similar proposal in Wisconsin (http://www.chicagogamersclub.com/2008/01/wisconsin-senator-suggests-video-game.html).
Also, Tragic Hero, as you'll see from my story, you're not the only one who doesn't think this is a bad idea.
Yes I would like to hear your opinion on this. Mine is that it's a stupid thing to tax games but whatever the pisses want i live in Montana where there is currently no tax anyway.
@holyetheline
I use to live in Montana! I was in Great Falls for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade.
Personally it doesn't bother me, unless it encourages some sort of legal domino effect that eventually reaches Virginia. Although I'm sure if they just kinda snuck it under the radar and didn't publicize it, no one would even know in the first place. Sorry for the short post btw, was in Web Design class when I found the article, didn't really have time to be winded.
@ shadewithin
Uh... Then, it's a BAD THING. BTW the whole CNN effect part is ALL good. Just need a little better time posting TEXT in to your next bloggy!
i tink is good idea, cuz teh guvment rly need munnees, so dey can pay teh pulice to pertect teh chilluns from teh drugs and teh tarerrists and cuz gamez is srsly bad anyway!
it's not a terrible idea, but I already have to pay a nearly 7% sales tax on everything I buy.
