Lets see...I'm not that creative, so I'll just go over the basics:

I'm 33 (yeah, I'm officially old...now get off my lawn!)
I currently work for a big insurance company, but that will change in 2 years after I get my Masters and become a professional bean counter (3x the salary, b1tches!)

As for gaming...my parents bought me an NES in 1986 and they have regretted that purchase to this day. I've been through a game boy, game gear, SNES, N64, Xbox, PS1, PS2, and currently enjoying the 360, Wii, and most recently the PS3 (wife's still pissed about that last one).

I was an editor of a now defunct gaming site, but now a Dtoid Army member.

After many months of sweat, blood, tears, nails, lumber, and some really good drywall and carpet installers, the Media Room/Basement/Office has been completed!!!

The brains of the system...receiver, and gaming central.

All in all, it was definitely worth it. It does have 7.1, with bookshelf Polk Audio in the front and Klipsch surround in the side and back. 10" sub is in the corner, but its a bit on the larger side, but I'm hoping to eventually add a recliner to sort of cover it up.

No picture of the dog this time, as he's not allowed on the new furniture.

Agreeing with Mattfoo. Your neck will be hurting tenfold as you're constantly turning. I know myself which is why I rearranged my ex apartment room and my soon to be rearranged room. It's not fun.

Guys, the actual couch IS in front of the TV. The loveseat is the one against the wall.

Ron, I've been swamped with work, schoolwork, and with a new baby on the way, prepping for her arrival. Hopefully as this semester winds down, I'll be able to be posting/commenting a lot more.

Getting DirecTV Hi-Def later this week. Rabbit ears were an impulse buy a month ago for a football game before the TV was put in its current location.
