OK so that right there, is a link to Charley Brooker's Gameswipe. You can thank me later.
Charley Brooker is a British legend, he generally takes the piss out of the news and TV and is kinda like Jim Sterling, if only Jim had stayed in the UK and got his own TV show.
The games show has a really funny look at how the media treats gaming, and gives an idiot's guide to game genres. All simple stuff, but being as though it's Mr Charley Brooker doing it, it's funny as fuck.
The only part i didn't like was 2D fighters being classified as "Beat em Ups" and the way that for multiplat titles they just picked a console and stuck it's name on it. Still, it's a really interesting and entertaining watch for anyone who likes video games.
Enjoy!

Big lols at the ten minute mark there where he bludgeons the corpse of a Nazi soldier to smithereens while stating "It's all right, he's a Nazi." Ahhh legend.
Is pretty good.
Awesome show though, Sterling says an afternoon of Tim Minchin is a well spent one, I say an afternoon of watching and reading Brooker is a better spent one.
P.S. Listen to Jawshey.
The UK is gagging for good programmes about videogames.
