Dissidia: Final Fantasy Sequel Confirmed

Shounen Jump confirmed that Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy is on the way to the PSP. This makes me happy for two reasons; first being that the original Dissidia was a very good game (ignore Sterling�s review, he basically seemed angry it wasn�t a Smash Brothers clone), and secondly I�m glad to see the PSP getting continued love despite me wanting to see a crossover of this level to be on the big boy Playstation 3. Two new characters have already been confirmed for Dissidia Duodecim; Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII & Kain from Final Fantasy IV.

Here�s to hoping that SquareEnix perhaps integrates some other franchises into the mix, I don�t think anyone would complain about Crono and Sora appearing in this game.

Considering your argument against it is nothing more than using a lame lolcat, your attempt to prove otherwise is fail.

It wasnt the greatest game of all time, but it was by no means bad. And I liked that it didnt simply try to be a Smash Bros. clone.

Also (since Dtoid still lacks an Edit function... srsly), based on Metascore it's on par with Valkyria Chronicles 2, Resistance Retribution, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, only 4 points lower than Crisis Core, and better than Killzone Liberation... I wouldn't consider any of those bad company.

I'm glad you liked the game but I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say you'd pretty much play anything involving FF characters and like it. Did you like Crisis Core too? Bleh...

I must say, adding FFXIII Lightning isn't exciting at all. :x

I kinda do want to play Dissidia, though (the first one) - except I don't own a PSP.

I want to play Birth By Sleep as well, but my boyfriend has it, so I'll just play it on his PSP :o

In other words, Dissidia 2 probably won't ever be played by me. :x

i loved dissida it was pretty great and btw jim review was kinda lame to me. I enjoy it alot I only played ff7 and ff8 too so show me how the other characters in the series are like

I can't really see Crono being on there. Not even Sora. Maybe some underappreciated dudes from the Final Fantasy franchise? Biggs, Wedge, Fujin, Raijin, THE FUCKING TURKS, etc.
