Yeah, I know, the new Mortal Kombat came out like two fricken weeks ago and I’m just now getting around to having an MK based FNF theme. Wanna know why it’s taken so long for this theme to pop up? Because I was too busy actually playing Mortal Kombat. For reals, yo, I’m having more fun with MK than I think I had with Street Fighter 4 or Marvel vs Capcom 3. I’m happy that MK is now both a bloody-as-fuck fighter that also is a good solid fighter in general. Plus I think Capcom could learn a thing or twenty by looking at how the MK series rewards their fans with assloads of content (or kontent?). Some people were apparently bitching that the Retro Costumes are on the disc DLC that we’ll have to pay for if we didn’t preorder, but you know what I think the amount of shit that’s actually in the game from the word go more than makes up for any on the disc DLC MK might have.

Pending some surprise today it looks like we’ll be without PSN for another consecutive Friday and rumors of a potential third attack on Sony are floating around apparently, which sucks because I still won’t be able to get my MK rocks off. I’ve been defensive of Sony a bit, even though they've screwed up a few large things along the way, but I’m apparently one of the few people who realizes Sony operates in the real world and not Super Magic Land where everything is perfect, so at this point I think I’m just going to start ignoring the faults Sony has had in this and realize that they are falling victim to some pretty heavy cyber-terrorism from some hackers that seem to be pretty well organized and skilled. I think we should just send John McClane after them and PSN will be back up within moments. But I think I speak for everyone on this when I say I just want PSN back.
