Blurb:
Damon is a twenty-something year-old manthing what currently "manages" an independently-owned games shoppe ("Game On!") in Denver, CO. He's entertained delusions of intelligence and relevance his entire life, and hopes to someday be recognized as a pundit in several fields, though his insatiable, insufferable ego will likely forever demand more. As it stands, the store he works at cannot afford to pay him, and as such his current gaming experiences are limited to those used titles that come through the store itself, or those rare occasions when his friends should happen to purchase something that he'd also like to play.

This fellow is arrogant, egocentric, narcissistic, and riddled with insecurities, anxieties, and contradictions, but occasionally - just every so often - manages to be a pretty okay, kinda' nice guy. A bit off-putting at first, but if you give him a chance he might just grow on you.

First of all, I apologize (to those that might care; I'm not THAT self-important) for being so scarce lately. The past few months have seen me working on our store's upcoming anniversary (one year, hooray), and the past couple of weeks also involved my - as well as several friends - working on a promotional Borderlands video for an iGames contest. The concept was fun, and we all liked the script that was written. Our costumes turned out pretty great and we had a blast filming. Now, the video is far from the greatest piece of entertainment that's ever been recorded. But, in terms of comparable YouTube fodder, we think it turned out pretty okay. (Mind you, I'm the one who owns the crappy camera and edited the thing together, so I'm especially critical of it.) So here's the thing. This contest's first several prizes yield a decent amount of award, and things are incredibly tight over here. I recently had some dental surgery, and have a chunk of debt that needs to be taken care of, while also working twice full time at a store that can't afford to pay any wages, so a little extra cash could REALLY help out. Now, I'm not trying to prey on anybody's sympathies and I'm certainly not trying to solicit any kind of disingenuous behaviour. All I'm asking is that you watch what we think to be a funny video that's kinda' about Borderlands (whoo~!). This contest is predicated largely on how many views these videos receive, NOT how much people like them. Ratings don't matter and you don't have to give us a rating you don't agree with (if any rating at all). Of course, if you DO like it, and don't mind helping me out, then it'd be insanely awesome if you'd watch it again or even tell others. Thanks folks.
