Too true Mr. hard hat wielding adventure game man. And the void of point and click adventure games as of late has left me, an old school adventure gamer, resorting to desperate measures. In other words, I try to keep my eyes out for new titles when I can. So a little while ago, I was checking the internetz to find a new one available by the name Infinity String. Just coming out this last July, this game is made sans fancy graphics or amazing gameplay, and frankly, I think that's okay. Infinity String is just an adventure game that follows the mold by providing an interesting storyline, challenging puzzles, interactive environment and inventory, and even goes a little above and beyond (mini-spoiler alert) and includes two possible endings. That said, it's no lucas arts classic. This game lacks humor and the storyline does get a little confusing at a point, but then again this one isn't out for an Oscar. Independently made, this one asks you only for your time and not your money, so if you're an adventure gamer like me, a big fan of science fiction stories involving technologically advanced aliens, or you're just looking for a challenge in a game, go ahead and check this one out. If you do, tell me what you thought.
