Listened to this last night and it was lovely as usual! I lost it at the cartoon sex part, hahaha!
It also made me really want to join in on the Borderlands 2 conversation. I, for one, appreciate Salvador's hairstyle (faux hawks can be iffy, but I think he pulls it off). Also, Ellie and Tiny Tina are indeed awesome characters! I think Ellie is my personal favorite. Oh, and I finally got the Goliath achievement today as well! I'd gotten a Goliath to God-liath level once before, but a King Spiderant killed it instead of me. Lame.

Oh, one more thing: I don't understand what's so bad about the controls for the vehicle. It feels really natural to me. Maybe it's better on PS3 controllers though, or maybe I'm just weird. :/
I think it's because the vehicle controls in BL2 are very similar to the Warthog in Halo, but way less forgiving. They feel familiar for me at first but then I'll take a turn too wide and hit the smallest rock that stops me dead in my tracks. Ultimately, it's a small complaint. When a game is as good as BL2, the faults just seem more obvious. Or you're weird. :)
I didn't speak up on the podcast but I agree with you - faux hawks don't bother me either. Sometimes annoying people wear them but I think Salvador pulls it off like a champ.

I've been enjoying the hell out of Zero. Pumped everything into the melee skill tree, got myself a gun with extra melee damage, spend all day stabbing mutants and robots in the back while spouting off haikus. It's a good life.

I’m almost at the point o Borderlands oversaturation but there’s always room for SMB. I might give the game some room to breathe and get back into it when Gaige comes out.
