At this point, I can think of a lot more reasons why RE5 would come to the Wii than reasons it wouldn't.
If Capcom were able to bring Resident Evil 4 to the Wii, and are able to bring Dead Rising to it successfully, I see no reason why they won't be able to.
A slight graphical downgrade, and a two-player mode as opposed to the online co-op for the 360 and PS3 is in the realm of possibility.
Capcom couldn't chuck a couple of models and maps on the RE4 engine and call it a sequel? From what I hear RE5 isn't much of a leap anyways...
