I would honestly laugh if the price got lowered and sales didn't increase and people still complained.
@zippyduda I would not laugh, I would actually not be surprised in anyway.
Will wait.
This article/rumor is like HipHopGamer.com absurd. I think he even ran an identical story a few weeks back!
@magnalon Sony keeps saying no, but their internal memos say "hells yes."
If this is true I might be buying a PS3 in the near future.
I've been thinking about buying a PS3 this Fall, but there really isn't enough software I'm interested in to justify a purchase at the moment and the Wii line up looks outstanding.
A price cut or this Killzone 2 bundle would definitely help though...or dare I say I might look into used consoles.
I will tell you exactly when the next PS3 price drop will come. 6 months after the release of the PS4.
The sony store closed? that sucks.
Moral of the story, do not implement too advanced technology when we are not ready to afford it. THat or... not overprice it? I give up.
Sorry, man, but I don't really trust ScrewAttack to bring me my gaming news. I don't really consider that your territory, though maybe that's changed since I used to visit the place.

At least the PS3 is one price , not a lot of repair costs with a initiation price of the console ...

Which is like saying
"All Humans will eventually die"
The real question is When.
@Wry Guy Well I've been doin it for a year and a half now. Don't know where you've been. *shrugs*
