Well I'm posting late as it's a Saturday, but a bunch of us from ScrewAttack started hanging out after work and I decided to do that instead. Anyway I'm back from my trip to San Francisco where I got to check out X-Men Origins: Wolverine which I'm not supposed to tell you is awesome until the 7th because I'm under embargo, and Transformers where I got to see a Devastating.........boss battle but I'll tell you more about that one on the 14th. Don't worry videos will be on ScrewAttack.com, but I can't talk about that so lets move on.
We have been getting some good press about Jack Thompson coming to the ScrewAttack gaming convention to debate the Joystiq editor but at least one guy is furious about it. I wont say the website because that would just give them more hit's but they pretty much call us pimps, money grubbers, etc. Is that true? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha NO! Everyone involved with SGS will lose money. I lose money because I'll have to work extra hours and not get paid for it and ScrewAttack most likely will not profit from the convention either unless 10,000 people show up, so not only is this ... sarcastic guy talking shit, but he's also pretty much lying. Whatever, the convention is going to be awesome and I'm very excited to be the person heading up the debate.
While I was gone from Hard News the rest of the ScrewAttack crew got to do a lot of sketches and have some fun with the show while I was gone. When I returned on April 2nd I decided I wanted to put an end to the sketches by doing a Sin City parody. The video this week is a side by side comparison of the skit in Hard News and the scene from Sin City. I hope you enjoy.
I don't know how to embed a Gametrailers movie to a blog so click here to view it :)
Thats all for this week, I've got to get my butt to the HQ to record some scenes for Metal Gear Ben. See you next week.
But I am bummed out that I won't be going to SGC, it looks like a lot of fun.
Lastly, Jim Sterling, what a pimp.
So I'm pretty sure it was a compliment...........or was it?!?!
depends. how would you have them cooked?
It depends on how toasty they are ...
