Hello! <3

Bit about me. I've been a gamer for the most of my life. When I was seven and waiting for my parents to pick me up from piano lessons, the teacher's two sons showed me Super Mario Bros 2. Needless to say I never learned to play the piano very well...

I've flip-flopped several times between consoles and PCs. I generally love non-generic FPS games, puzzlers (Tetris is probably my favourite game of all time) and platformers of all shapes and sizes. I tolerate RPGs, but usually don't bother because I just don't have the time to invest in them.

I'm one of those freaks that regard FF7 and Ocarina of Time as merely average. That might be partly because I'm biased against the first round of 3D games that generally looked and played like crap compared to the 2d games at the time (during that generation I was a PC gamer, where they actually could do decent 3D at the time). By no means are they bad games, but plenty of games have done just as well and actually looked good in the process.

Yeah yeah, graphics aren't everything. But as important as gameplay is, looks still matter. It doesn't have to be the best looking thing around, but it at least has to be passable.

I tried to be a collector for awhile, but realized there was no market where I lived and gave that up. Currently I have an NES, SNES, GameBoy/GameBoy Colour/GameBoy Advance SP, DS, a 360, and of course my lovely gaming PC. ^_^

So, it would seem that I have a Mirror's Edge Time Trial Code that I'm not using, and thought it'd be cool to give it away. There have been a few other contests already though, plus the game is coming out in what... a week? Substandard contest would be substandard. :( Thankfully my good pal Black Yoshi stopped by for a visit! Riding a friggin' tiger no less! <3 And what's that at the bottom there? Seems Black Yoshi still has the Mirror's Edge poster and comic from PAX, and is willing to toss them in as prizes in addition to the code. Sweet! The poster and comic aren't in mint condition sadly, since being carted to WWE events and creepy evacuated towns can do that, however they are still in very good condition and I'm sure will be loved by any Mirror's Edge fan. :) As for the contest itself... a random drawing is pretty much all we could think of. To spice it up a bit though, and to satisfy our vanity, you need to compliment Black Yoshi and/or myself on just how amazing/handsome we are. Every person who does this in the comments below will get an entry in the contest. One bonus entry can be awarded for something lol-worthy involving mirrors, edges, faith or any combination thereof. Obviously each person can only get one entry and one bonus entry, although I'm sure neither of us would mind the extra compliments. ^_^ The contest will run until tonight around 10pm Atlantic time (GMT-4) which is a little over 8 hours from now, at which point I'll collect the entries and proclaim a winner who will be messaged the time trial code, and asked to supply a mailing address for everything else.
