Well everyone, this is the last FNF before Christmas. In the name of this historic occasion the theme for tonight's maps is... racing in TF2? Yeppers. Really nothing to report for Left 4 Dead, but for TF2 we have two maps to try out tonight:
- balloon_race: Comes highly recommended by some fellow TF2 players. Apparently there is some balance issues and getting knocked off is a pain, but should be fun.
- wacky_races: This ones just looks off the wall. Attack the steering wheel of your car to speed up, and the front engine of the opponent's car to slow them down. Different, and hopefully as good as the review score indicates.
In addition to the new maps, I will also be willing to give RPS another go. For those of you unfamilar with it, a designated person (me) picks someone from each team. That person types a class name into team chat, and their entire team goes that class. Then play the match as normal as that class the whole time. Usually results in a steamroll or stalemate, but can be quite fun. We did stop it awhile ago as a lot of people were getting sick of it, but due to constant harassment from a few individuals I've decided to give it another go. Now, I'll only be doing RPS for likely just one map, and even then only if I feel there is enough people on the server interested (I'll likely do a vote after the new maps). So, to all you people who have been whining about RPS this is your night to come out!
As always, please have the maps downloaded in advance and we look forward to seeing you out tonight! :)

Sloth: Break! Fall!
Mama Fratelli: No! I only dropped once.
Sloth: Ahh!
Mama Fratelli: Well, maybe twice. No Sloth! Put me down!

At the moment pretty much all of my few local friends who actually play games are dinks who now spend all of their time playing WoW. So, feel free to look me up and send an invite to play games. ^_^

Hello! <3
Bit about me. I've been a gamer for the most of my life. When I was seven and waiting for my parents to pick me up from piano lessons, the teacher's two sons showed me Super Mario Bros 2. Needless to say I never learned to play the piano very well...
I've flip-flopped several times between consoles and PCs. I generally love non-generic FPS games, puzzlers (Tetris is probably my favourite game of all time) and platformers of all shapes and sizes. I tolerate RPGs, but usually don't bother because I just don't have the time to invest in them.
I'm one of those freaks that regard FF7 and Ocarina of Time as merely average. That might be partly because I'm biased against the first round of 3D games that generally looked and played like crap compared to the 2d games at the time (during that generation I was a PC gamer, where they actually could do decent 3D at the time). By no means are they bad games, but plenty of games have done just as well and actually looked good in the process.
Yeah yeah, graphics aren't everything. But as important as gameplay is, looks still matter. It doesn't have to be the best looking thing around, but it at least has to be passable.
I tried to be a collector for awhile, but realized there was no market where I lived and gave that up. Currently I have an NES, SNES, GameBoy/GameBoy Colour/GameBoy Advance SP, DS, a 360, and of course my lovely gaming PC. ^_^

'Twas the FNF before Christmas and all through the internets not a Dtoider was stirring, except for all of the FNFers.
POETRY: I HAS IT.
P.S. This means that I will be playing TF2 tonight :)
I'll be there late since I have to work tonight, as it seems I have to do every Friday now.
