That Update is a Spy! TF2's Spy update revealed

Well played Valve, well played indeed. Day 4 of the Sniper update took a shocking turn when the update was revealed to none other than a crafty disguise for that of the Spy's. Whether the entire Sniper update was false (the Razorback did seem kind of ridiculous) or both are coming to our PCs remains to be determined. What is known is that the Spy is getting two new unlockables (that seem to replace his cloacking device): "The Dead Ringer" which lets a spy feign his own death (fake corpse and all) allowing him to sneak behind the now lax enemy for a quick stab, and the "Cloak and Dagger" which lets the Spy stay invisible indefinitely, provided he doesn't move. Despite its not being recovered by ammo boxes, the CaD still seems a little on the broken side, but I'm far to pleased by this surprise update to complain. Well done good sirs!

Okay, so I just BARELY picked this up for the PC, only because it came with the Orange Box. I played it on the PS3, and didn't like it much because the Spy, my favorite class, was kinda broken, since there's no friendly fire. Did they add that option yet?

(Sorry, I'm WAY out of the loop with this game, because I was never in the loop.)

So is the sniper update fake? I hope so because the Jarate, Razorback and Huntsman sound very cheap, as well as ridiculous. Like, sandman cheap(and kind of ridiculous). Hell, the dead ringer sounds cheap too. I'm really starting to hate all these alternative weapon sets. I can say I'm very glad the xbox version is free of sandmens due to Valve not updating it.

@Naim: I play on both, on PC for the mods that freshen things up and on the Console because controller < keyboard. From what I've played, the sandman is a bit frusterating for heavies and other slow classes, especialley when the scout update was going on. So many baseballs...*shiver*

I couldn't hit shit for balls in Half Life 2 PC. I murdered on the console version though...

Same for L4D, can't do shit on the PC version, can do shit on the 360.

Those who are better on the console than PC, as far as controls are concered, are just not used to the controls the mouse and keyboard offer. I agree that the mouse and keyboard offer a better degree of control. Ultimately, what ever gets the job done is what matters. Also, I need to dust off my TF2. My poor PC doesn't get the gaming love it used to.

I can admit, you can do so much more with a keyboard. But I SERIOUSLY never understood why people think the keyboard is better. It's as ludicrious to me as my opinion is to you guys. It just feels clunky, slow, and hard to control. I cant do any fast movements and Scout harassing like I normalley can with a controller(take me on XBL, I AM a pretty good scout)I normalley have to play as a heavy because it's not so hard to aim or move. The controller's buttions are closer, the analog sticks are easier to control.. And hell, I played a lot of PC shooters as a kid and I still prefer the controller.

I seriously have never heard a person say that with a straight face... It's just, unheard of. I would think that anyone who uses a computer on a regular basis would be able to handle the keyboard/mouse combo with no problems, but apparently I'm wrong.

I'm better with the controller, myself. Hell, I even aim better with the Wii remote. I'm okay with the mouse, but I definitely don't think it's the best.
