Legacy of Ys books 1&2 is being released on the 24th, so maybe it has something to do with that? If not then I hope they're revealing plans to bring the original Persona remake psp port stateside. Other then that... let's see... Arcana Heart 2 maybe? I really have no idea when it comes to Atlus.
When AREN'T they announcing a game? It's too bad I'm not a huge fan of the Shin Megami Tensei games or anything. I would love to see another obscure JRPG come out over here though. Or a new Tactics Ogre.
Steal Princess looks horrible.
Looks like Atlus may be taking more of my money. I kinda hope this announcement is for something I'm not interested in because I can't afford to keep buying stuff from them.
looking at it again it says "Atlus Online" on the paper header, so it probably has to do with their new online service. Also, the top right says "ATLUSA.R.A.M." I have no clue what that could mean.
@Sicpos: ATLUSA.R.A.M. is the name of the Atlus "superocmputer". And on second thought I think the announcement might have something to do with Atlus online, since the image redirects you to the Atlus Online pre-registration page. Perhaps the 23rd is when Atlus Online officially opens?
Oh snap. Nice deducing guys! Wonder what they're gonna launch it with?
@Diverse: ATLUSA.R.A.M. may be the name of the "supercomputer" but it probably has more meaning then that.
@Scipos
Not sure about that. The reason I think they brought it up is because of it's recent crash, and thus they;ve been joking that it's grown sentient, and thus would leak info.
No, Atlus A.R.A.M has always been the name of their computer mainframe. It's also the first name of one of their spokespeople, Aram Jabbari. That's all the meaning it has(A.R.A.M. is an acronym but I forget what it stands for, it has nothing to do with this announcement though.)
And the joke about A.R.A.M being an evil mastermind that wants to take over the world both isn't a joke and isn't new. They've been warning us of his plans for years now.
This is either an official announcement of a game or service for Atlus Online, or it's an announcement for Knights in the Nightmare/Crimson Gem Saga, the last two leaked games they haven't yet officially announced.
If they need teenagers with weapons to keep the ARAM's mouth shut, they know where to find me.
So what's this "Shattered Continent" business? That sounds like an expansion pack title to me.
Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up.
You guys are making it sound like Atlus makes shitty games, I havent been disappointed by any of their releases so far.
SMT PS3, SMT PS3, SMT PS3... If I say it enough, it might come true!
