Awesome! I loved the idea for this feature. My pick is Kraid, who got gyped out of being in Prime (and you can even find pics of how he would have looked in the game floating around the nets).
Right on, there is nothing more romantic than a miniboss fight. Can't wait to see what you got.
That eragon in Mega Man 2! The one you had to fight while standin on 3 pegs! He isn't considered a boss, is he?
dragon even!
I wondered what happened to this feature
Yay!
You doing this during my work shift...I'm watching you Mike.
Oh wait, if I can post on message boards during work I guess I should let you as well.
Lunch, Eddie. It's a wonderful thing.
Nice feature. I'm excited to see what you bring to the table.
A suggestion: In Zelda II: Link's Adventure, the second-to-last boss... that flying bird crazy thing that made you cast I think 3 spells just to be able to fight him, which also resulted in you not being able to heal yourself during the battle.
As a young person, I never got past this guy and did not beat the game until after Windwaker came out.
@Kyle
Thunderbird was the boss. You had to cast Thunder, Jump, and Shield.
Minibosses? Hmm... Would the Hunter-chopper from Half Life 2 count, or is that a full fledged boss?
Hooooray
