I am a former Associate Editor of Destructoid who became INTERNET FAMOUS (er, not really...) for my weekly column entitled "Miniboss Monday." You might've heard of it. It was kind of a big deal. Anyway, I've since moved on to becoming a lurker and playing my fair share of games in the meantime. Oh, and I wear a kilt, love retro video games, and drink a lot of beer. That pretty much sums me up.
As of 6:00PM EST, the closed beta testing for the PvP-centric MMO Fury has begun. Shown above, is a simple gameplay trailer with a good message that rings true to the ex-WoW players among us (including myself.) I will be partaking in this beta weekend as soon as I get home from work this evening.
On a sidenote, though the YouTube is blurry as all get-out, the game is running on the Unreal 3 engine.
I will post further updates and impressions at the end of the weekend session.
When you finally get on post what realm you're in and your character name...I'll be on sometime in the next hour or two...hopefully...I forgot to download the client earlier.
