Fallout 3 OXM Info
Sarin | 2:16 AM on 03.08.2008 3 comments

New fallout 3 info for those who care. NMA has detailed info up about the article. The scans have had to be removed cause of legal reasons (What good have laws ever done anyone?!), but I found two floating around

Sounds iffy at best in terms of carrying the spirit of Fallout, but I guess it looks fun for a few hours at least.

i am no fan of 1 or 2, and not even oblivion. however, i can't help but feel really confident that this will be something else that we have never experienced before

("shoulder-mounted launcher of miniature nuclear bombs, which detonate with a small but horrific mushroom cloud").

Things like this are what worries me about the future of this game. A mini nuclear bomb shooter? The world has been devastated by nuclear war and apparently someone has the ability/technology to make a weapon that shoots mini nukes at people?

It better have 4 or 5 shots all game because if you can buy ammo for such a weapon or ammo is in abundance than this is worse than the "Grim reapers sprint"

But when we started talking to more consumer-oriented magazines, we'd have, like, two seconds...and we'd say, 'it's like post-apocalyptic Oblivion with guns.' And they're like, 'Awesome!'

So much fail I dont know what to say, fuck obilvion :|

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

About Me

Hey all, real name's Tom, but I usually travel under the handle Sarin (as in the chemical). I'm a 19 yo Uni student studying science at Sydney Uni. As some of you may have figured out I live in Australia but I still try to get on the destructoid TF2 sever despite my 200+ pings.

Trivia Time
Some of my favourite games are:
Grim Fandango
Secret of Monkey Island I&II
Psychonauts
Day of the Tentacle
(Add any Tim Schaefer Game Here)
Fallout 1&2
Max Payne 1&2
TF2
Vampire: Bloodlines
Arcanum
Planescape: Torment
Hitman: Blood Money
This is already too long so I'll stop

Currently playing:
TF2
BrB;u Mod Nights
Hitman: Blood Money
Persona 3

Random:
-I get irrationally distressed when game characters have names like Sarin. Saren(Mass Effect), Sareth(Dark Messiah), Saris(Horizons), Sarun(Viralhunter's story), there are others
-GTA was damn good but has little replay value after the second play through :(
-If you play PC games come to BrB;u. It rocks!
-Having no friends is laym
