So who likes multiplayer matches where you get to kick the #@%! of the guys who made the game? Nothing says "I LOVE YOUR GAME DUDE!" like spanking around the very folks who spent the last few years of their life on it! This saturday the 12th you can do JUST that in Dead Space 2!

At 11am PST and again at 3PM PST Saturday the 12th you can play against the DS2 Devs on Xbox LIVE! (and playstation network as well!). The best part? Forget those silly "viral achievements" that some games have, instead kill us and you get a special "Viral Suit" delivered to your inventory automagically!!! (The viral suits available are going to be a "Viral Blue", and a "Tiger Striped Viral White")

Checkout the list below of the Gamertags to be on the lookout for (including yours truly!), just send us an direct game invite and we will try to join in for a match or two. Just be warned random folks have flooded our inbox with friend requests to dont be offended if you cant add us as a friend, we still love you anyways!

I totally would atleast attempt to but apparently I can never get into a GWD event because they're usually full up with friend requests, but even moreso my brother is the one with the copy of Dead Space 2 and since he used his online pass I'm not sure I could even get into a game if I wanted to without it.

If you borrow your brothers disk and try to play online, you will be granted a two day free pass for online play. Use it wisely ;)

As to getting into a match, being on a friends list isn't needed at all. Just send out a game invite to any of the folks on the list and one of us will try to join up with you for a match!

Side note; you're one of the DS2 developers? Sweet, this is like a direct line to the game. If you don't mind I want to say a couple things...

First of all, the game rocked. I'm on Ch 14 and it's amazing. These last few chapters have been freakin' insane. The eye poke machine was incredibly emotionally taxing.

Now, multiplayer. I know a lot of people don't like it but I do; however, playing as a necromorph is extremely lame compared to a human. I just hope you guys aren't ignoring the reaction to the multiplayer. In the Q&A that featured a bit on the new single-player expansion, the guy talking completely downplayed the reaction to multiplayer. I don't care if you feel it's good enough or whatever, but don't kid yourselves into thinking that everyone loved it.

Anyways, hope you don't mind me taking over your comment-space with a micro-review. Great game and I hope to see you at this event! And kill you, of course :P

@Sama thanks for the praise. As to the MP over all experience, we definitely have a good team of folks who pay attention to what the community says. Based on that feedback, you never know what might find its way to you in the form of a patch or DLC!

As to the Viral Suit, its a bright yellow camouflage patterned suit. It's quite possible you may have seen someone wearing one already, since our Executive Producer has been wearing it since day 1 :)

Yeah they are VERY rare still, you can only get it from having killed him, or someone else who killed him and is wearing it at the time you kill then... obviously not many have it. Strangely enough I ran into 3 of them today though!

Still working on those PSN names for you guys, since I'm not part of the group doing PSN stuff I haven't been included in those conversations so I have to track down that info!
