OK let's see my momma named me Steve, but you would know me better as SantanaClaus89, or my PSN name, Moosehole. I'm 27 years old and reside in Virginia, about 20 minutes outside of Washington, D.C. Outside of games, I'm a huge sports fan who is die-hard for all my local teams (Redskins, Wizards, Nationals, Capitals).

I've had many different consoles throughout my 20 years of gaming, but I currently own a PS3, PSP-3000, PS2, SNES, Genesis, and NES.

SOCOM: Confrontation Destructoid Clan

Just wanted to give a quick reminder to those of you who have picked up (or are planning to pick up) SOCOM: Confrontation, the DESTRUCTOID.COM clan from the beta is alive and well in the full version.

If you want to join us, you can either find the clan from the community menu in-game, or you can just say so right here on this blog and I'll send you an invite. Just be sure to leave your PSN ID.

Hope to see you guys online. This game is great. And the headset kicks ass.

I gotta wait till tomorrow. The fucking GameStop where I pre-ordered didn't get there shipment in.

I take it you got the retail disc with Headset, eh? Thought you were going to download it. I TOLD you to get the one with the headset, lol.

Unfortunatly It looks like I'm going to be pretty broke until my next paycheck (stupid bills) so I probably won't be getting this for another few weeks. I'm curious to know how the new headset is.

Same thing happened to me with Dead Space. I called circuit city and best buy to see if they got it in and both of them said they are not allowed to sell it until Wednesday at 2:00pm. The release day is today, I'm not sure why they are holding out until tomorrow. I'm pretty pissed, I was looking forward to playing it today.

Anyway, about SOCOM. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get it. I didn't really like the beta, but we'll see.

There are so many games that do what this does and better. I'm not buying it. There are many other games coming out that deserve my money.
