To begin, thank you everyone for the nice welcome, creepy stalking, and much advice to not suck. :]
I'm sure people love to share pictures of their rooms, which most of the time might consist of extreme insanity of obsession. While I had already posted some pictures at Tomopop, I focused more on my room than my figurines in these pictures. I owed Colette some new pictures of my room either way.
Don't worry, if my pictures scare you, it won't be the first. I do carry a lot of crap, especially in such a small room. Be warned, there are quite a few.
So welcome to my abyss!
First wall, next to my bed.
Next wall. Some figures, some plushies, a crap load of keychains that won't all fit on my cellphone.
Next! Random PS2 games that I recently bought, Nia belt, Eevvvaaahhhhh, Row row Fight Da POWAA!, manga that don't fit in my shelf, crappy laptop don't I don't use anymore.
Favorite part of my room. On the right, first shelf is full of Japanese manga, second self is the best shelf ever, and the desk part is full of more manga and random crap there too. Shelfs above my TV have videos that I didn't get in the picture, shelf full of doujinshi, figurines, and DVDs. Ignore the random cosplay wigs. XP
The best shelf I was talking about? THIS ONE. My
Tales of shelf. I officially ran out of room for more Tales of stuff, crap. XD
Under my TV. Oh look, a Wii collecting dust. Random PSX games in there, Gamecube and DS, Wii.
So where are the games and other systems? Well. My brother doesn't live here anymore and my mom turned his room into an "entertainment" room. So nice of her to put up with my gaming shit.
Ta-dah! ..... yeah, kind of boring, I know. I'm not allowed to attack this room with stuff. She was nice enough to let me have the displays in there. The games are in boxes under the futon ... it was the only choice I had. D:
And to show you how pathetic I am with this obsession:
Mmmm, yes. So delicious. The game with the glare is Tales of Legendia.
Tales of the Abyss US and
RE Tales of Vesperia are missing because my friends have them. There are still some games missing but one that'll be hard for me to get is
Tales of Destiny 2 US (aka Tales of Eternia). ;_;
So there you have it! Sorry I couldn't get pictures of my games but, uh, I feel so sad for them being kept hidden in a box.
Oh, and since I'm already posting a gajillion pictures, someone left a comment to share video game cosplay pictures. While I haven't really cosplayed people from games, I did dress up as Link for the midnight release of SSBB. It's not great but it was something I pulled together in one day. :P
Now with this done, time to go pick up my copy of
The Last Remnant! Anyways, those going to the Miami NARP, see you tonight!
Gamestop. I work there so, you know, I take them. :P
Also SanCtuary.
Impressive.
It's not broken. It's crappy because it has extreme overheating problems so it can only stay there is the cooling fan. Some portable device, huh?
Which is cool. :)
Also I see you still game in SD!!!! :O
I don't blame, seeing as you have a LOT of stuff, and I mean a LOT!! ;)
Just wondering....
Curious as to what kind of guys you mean. I haven't had one person think my room as weird or over-the-top lol. If you mean guys that I bring home, I've only dated nerdy guys and actually, never really date much anyways.
It is a cool room btw. Little excessive, but cool.
I is teh Jealous.
eternal - i think gamer guys would be scared too :| you cant see the top half of the drywall!
I do however approve of your Tales obsession.
Many props to the Digimon adventures on your wall :3
and your Tales collection makes me SO JEALOUS! I love Tales games I didn't get a chance to play Tales of Destiny.
I used to work at a Gamestop and had those same stands in my room. Due to lack of space, I gave them away to friends.
How old is that computer in the entertainment room picture?
Nice use of wall space though. My room(well, both my college apartment and my one back home) seem so bland and bare by comparison. The shelves don't seem too organized though...
Oh, and to the last pic, you make a very handsome young man, miss.
Too tired from the NARP to reply to others. I'm outta here ~ Zzzzz
@ Diverse: Yeah, sadly, they have to be there because my mom doesn't want my games to take up space in that room. :|
HOT
HOT HOT HOT
I think I would go crazy living in a room with so much clutter, but to each their own.
Although, waking up in that room with a hangover must be quite an experience.
Welcome to Destructoid, the fact that you have an entertainment room makes me just a tad jealous.
Be good.
I have to admit I wouldn't be able to have my room filled anime-ish/videogame-ish things simply due how "normal" people would look at me. Hell, I get glares from random people when they hear somewhere of the games I own.
Still, impressive.
