I got into gaming with my big brothers NES when I was a little kid. So I guess I have him to thank for getting me interested in it. Growing up we shared a love for gaming and bought consoles together. Getting older my brother stopped playing games but now I'm 20 years old and still going strong. I play almost all kinds of games (no sports!) but mostly action and RPGs.

Also, "Stuvning" translates to stew in English. Like the above beef stew.

Since my SNES stopped working a while back this is awesome: The Retro Duo!!!

Basically it's an NES/SNES clone in one machine. Since used SNES consoles are really overpriced here and in poor quality at that. And this little baby also works with games from all regions. The downside is that it looks kinda ugly but I could get used to that. Can't wait to play Mario Kart on the real deal again. Gotta replace the controllers though. If I end up buying it I'll be sure to write a review with lots of pics.

Both this and the FC Twin have compatibility issues with some of my favorite games so I think I'll stick with the originals.

I think you can only use SNES controllers with this. I don't think NES will work (read: no Duck Hunt). Also, be wary of common NOAC (Nintendo on a chip) problems like compatabilty. Games like Castlevania 3 won't work on NOAC chips.

This looks pretty sweet. I still have a load of old SNes games that i've wanted to play for a while. The fact that it will play PAL and US ones is a major bonus.

And yea, the controllers are complete trash. Very much so complete trash.

There arent 'too' many places carrying them though. Most likely the easiest route is ebay.

I read over at kotaku that it will play starfox perfectly.

So it might be able to play Castlevania.
