First Deus Ex 3 info (Warning, nitpicking inside!)
STUVNING | 12:58 PM on 10.04.2008 3 comments

So this is my third post about Deus Ex 3. Big whoop wanna fight about it? Seriously, I'm a huge fan of Deus Ex that's why. The first details are now released, and I'm worried. Head over to CVG to check it out. There are some things that sound good but others are just horrible. As the title says there will be nitpicking here. Nitpicking only a fanboy can justify. Fairly warned be ye!

"Augmentations have been bumped up and sound fantastic. 20 have been promised for the final game, ranging from 'bungee jump' tentacles that shoot from your back and anchor to a wall when you jump off a building, and the ability to punch through walls to grab enemies in neighboring rooms."

Seriously? Sprouting tentacles? Wouldn't it make sense for the older augmentations to be more primitive than the newer ones? This game is supposed to take place before Deus Ex you know. And not to mention it sounds totally insane. I have to admit it's a little bit awesome though but really out of place.

It seems like they want it be even more of an action game than Invisible War was. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out

P.S:
Thanks to everyone who commented on the Samus mural, I love you Destructoid!
Also, I was going to start my Castle Crashers mural this weekend but the damn bulb in the projector blew as I was about to draw it up on the wall. So that's on hold for a while :(.

I don't know. Sounds like the rape tentacles will work almost like Kurt's ribbon-chute in MDK, except they anchor you.

 about me

I got into gaming with my big brothers NES when I was a little kid. So I guess I have him to thank for getting me interested in it. Growing up we shared a love for gaming and bought consoles together. Getting older my brother stopped playing games but now I'm 20 years old and still going strong. I play almost all kinds of games (no sports!) but mostly action and RPGs.

Also, "Stuvning" translates to stew in English. Like the above beef stew.
