About Me
I got into gaming with my big brothers NES when I was a little kid. So I guess I have him to thank for getting me interested in it. Growing up we shared a love for gaming and bought consoles together. Getting older my brother stopped playing games but now I'm 20 years old and still going strong. I play almost all kinds of games (no sports!) but mostly action and RPGs.

Also, "Stuvning" translates to stew in English. Like the above beef stew.

Deus Ex 3 to be "revealed" next month
STUVNING | 12:50 PM on 09.08.2008 14 comments

I was just thinking about how there hasn't been any news on Deus Ex 3 in a while. I thought of it as a good sign, that Eidos wasn't rushing to hype their game up. We'll have to see if I was right next month.

Picture proof.

In next month's PC Zone the "conspiracy is revealed", whatever that means. I'm cautiously optimistic about. Let's hope for some scans to surface soon

Never played Deus Ex 2 but I'm a big fan of the first one.

Hopefully we'll be able to forget Deus Ex 2 ever happened.

I just finished Deus Ex 1 for the first time about a week ago(recently found the PS2 ver. in a flea market). I really enjoyed that one and hope Deus Ex 3 will be a lot like it.

(BTW, never played Deus Ex 2, how was the story in that one. Already heard they simplified the gameplay alot, soo I just want to know if the story was better, the same or different. Maybe a synopsis would be cool.)

Palidi: You can almost always find that type of thing on a game's wikipedia page

Deus Ex 2 IW is not that bad, I always say that. It has some technical glitches, for example the game without the patch is mostly unnplayable. Once it is patched my only problem with it were the loading screens, they were everywhere.
Anyway, the game is fairly good.

Looking forward for info on deus ex 3.

@VELT: I agree it's the same thing with Chrono Cross. If it had been called something else and had nothing to do with Chrono Trigger it would have done better. Agreed IW wasn't perfect but it was an enjoyable game. But won't stand up well in comparison to the first one.

"Deus Ex 2 wasn't cannon" should be the first line of this preview.

I just read that story synopsis on the wikipedia, and...

I think I want to play it for the story. It seems a bit convoluted in that article as they try to mash it into the time frame of the first game. I mean, takes place after a mix of all 3 of Deus Ex 1's endings? The hell?

Of course, thats my impression of it from the Wikipedia article...so...

The Chrono Cross to Invisible War comparison was a great one. Both were hollow shells of what made the first games enjoyable.
