Why, Sex, Why? [Problably Not Safe For Work]
SRCisFriday | 2:37 PM on 06.24.2009 4 comments

I'm fucking scared.

This Happened . I don't know how to feel about it. I don't know what to think about it. I have a weird feeling, a mix between joy, sorrow, anger, fear and nausea.

Being happy is being selfish, becuse people that are happy with this won't have to suffer anymore, but more people will suffer, because they max source for the human basic desirehas dissapered. Being sad is just plain weird. Being angry is just natural, as humans feel anger if they source of basic desire gets temporarily erased, causing the basic human response, violence. Being scared is thinking too much. And having nausea problably means I ate too much sugar this morning.

What.

As I don't know how to react, I will instead show you my reporter work, made for my journalism classes, as it may be related:

Media Effects on children and teenagers

Since the beginning of Media, there have been attemps to censor and control the violence and suggestive behavior in these , saying that it affects young people and makes them behave differently. How much of this is true?

During last years there has been great controversy over what can and can't be showed in popular media, particularly new media, such as cartoons, video games and the Internet. However, this is not new, since this has been questioned by the media since the at least Sherlock Holmes' time.

It has been demonstrated that the Internet has given children access to things intented for mature audiences, and that everyone can, accidentally or on purpose, find questionable content while surfing on the
net.

Some of the Media effects that have been demonstrated are discrease of imagination-based games on little children, the increase on the belief that "we are ugly" and having a more violent imagination (thinking in more violent ways of punishment).

The scientific explanation to this is that, since the brain isn't fully developed until late teens, people under 20 years is easily influenced by what they see.

Now, for something completely different I will ask you a very weird question:

How many of your last sexual fantasies and foreplay has been inspired by media? How many of them by the basic human desire of Pleasure?

I am very aware that until now, all my blogs are fail. What do you recommend me to stop failing?

People are shaped by te events/people/stimuli around them. Like the way you speak is shaped by the speech around you.

None of this is news to me. Everything effects you regardless ether you say or believe it doesn't. Though in regard to your question, I believe a lot of it has to do with a persons nature. Because if a person did not once consider them, we would still be doing it monkey style.

In regards to failblog, try and sit down and write something that really means something to you, and show that your points are well researched, and smart but still personal.

Everybody who blogs has to find their personal style, their audience... keep writing and you'll find your style! :)

In regards to this blog... I think I find it confusing. You make a reference (though a link) about the banning of pornographic games... but then ask about media affects on children and teenagers. Children and teenagers aren't playing pornographic games... it seems that these are entirely separate thoughts.

Your thoughts are a little too broad based I think... you need to narrow your perspective. There is even a huge difference between teenagers and children. I would never expose a child to many of the games that I might let a teenager play.

... my own opinion is that you seem to have an idea... but it seems a bit "muddy". Maybe you need to focus in more clearly on one question... and build your blog around that!
(though I'm not necessarily one to talk... I can ramble on and on in blogs! LOL!)

Stop making forum posts or bad jokes. Really, that's like 90% of it right there. Just think about something meaningful and blog it: if it doesn't mean much to you, don't blog it. This is on the right track, I don't think this would make fail blog tonight.
