Niiice.
This is the game that introduced me to the wonderful universe of shmups. Good job getting a copy.
Most turbographx-16 games are fairly hard to find. R-Type is on virtual console now as far as I know. Ikaruga is damn hard to find on the Gamecube or Dreamcast(Japan Only).
I think he's referring to R-Type Final. I can still probably find a copy or three around my local GameStops so I wouldn't call it rare.
GOOD WORK! You have just gained a great amount of respect in my eyes.
Iky, Gradius V and RT-Final are ALL hard to find. You win, man.
Yeah I Meant R-Type Final. I was lucky to find the copy of Ikaruga, I saw it sitting on the shelf at the GameStop I worked at all summer but I did not know too much about it so I never actually picked it up. Amazingly about 5 months later it was still still there so I bought it on the spot.
I love this game. Still have yet to beat it, mainly because I rarely turn on my PS2 anymore. I really hate that the subtitles don't match what they say.
For the brief period that I had a PS2 I wanted Gradius V. Well done. :)
Also well done on getting Ikaruga. I'm very happy that I got my copy it when I had the opportunity. It's sweet.
Very cool man.
