The Rusty Ghia needs a new nose

It finally happened.

It happens to everyone eventually.

My car got hit.



We were stopped at a stop sign, the Nissan Xterra ahead of me, and he decides to back up - into my poor beautiful car's nose. He came out all apologetic like, and says that he was too far out into the lane and had to back up. Problem was, he says, he didn't see me. Of course, he only had to look into any one of his mirrors to see that someone was behind him. We traded info and we went our different ways.

I get home later, and I have a message on my phone. Turns out that the guy gave me the insurance info of the car's owner, not his own.

Oh boy, this is going to be all kinds of fun. I'll call my insurance on Monday since my State Farm guy is closed on Sundays.

Damn it.
