"Naw, sorry I'm going on CoD now"... XiXrEcOiLzZXiX has left your Xbox Live Party...
I'm pleased to inform you that those days are a thing of the past. Why? The new shooter hawtness is here and is likely to keep the CoD addicts off CoD for at least two weeks. Three words: Bad. Company. 2.
But why do I think it's better? Let's find out.
No More Game-Chat Thank God. No longer do you have to listen to the squeaky thirteen year-old who's high from five cans of Red Bull with the volatile mix of ADD and twitchy game-play mechanics. On BBC2 Party Chat is un-prohibited so you can talk all you want to all your special Xbox-friends, you popular people.
I still can't see why Party Chat was banned on MW2 when Private Chat wasn't... It only takes two people to cheat or boost.
No More Happy Campers "Where was he? Oh, yeah, the same place he was the last twelve goddamn times!"
Being pwned by the same lil' camper every time you go for the bomb? Blow that mother-fucker's house up. Ya srsly. I don't know about you, but I really hate campers, I just get really annoyed that they have the attention span of something with a really long attention span. I mostly get annoyed with myself because I know were they are, but I keep on walking past and getting killed.
Cool, Calm and Collected BBC2 seems to be much more calmer and easier going than MW2; it must be to do with the larger health and larger maps, because you don't seem to die as often - which is always a good thing - so you don't get as frustrated as much, hence the header. It also probably has a lot to do with the lack of high-pitched ne'er-do-wells too.
You can just sit down with a cup of coffee and play a bit of Battlefield with a few friends and comfy chair. While on CoD you feel the need to scream orders at your clearly inferior team-mates while feeling every bullet hitting your avatar with stinging frustration.
The Evil of YouTube Hasn't Claimed It Everybody knows YouTube has devoured CoD's soul and regularly flaunts it to the world through the hundreds of thousands of people that regularly post commentaries and montages. Luckily YouTube hasn't claimed BBC2 yet, so if I were you I would close this page and go play it before it's infested with professional-uber-1337-coolio-dazzle-users.
But before you do, please watch this video made by two of my real-life friends... and pray this never happens to BBC2.
I have a feeling I would have really liked MW2 if everyone didn't try scaring me away from the game. Oh well, Activision got enough sales as it is. Also, MAG released like a month later and I was planning on buying it but have yet to do that. I'll be picking up BC2 in the next few days though :D
