Dude, I'm sorry but I read that as "Why I love Oprah" and lol'd.
I ran Opera for a year or so and ultimately ditched it when I found it to be incompatible with a site that I was using regularly. I already have the "mouse gestures" feature, as my four-button mouse in conjunction with XP has the same sort of functionality (without having to move the cursor in a specific direction). And I have a folders of bookmarks to open in tabs, which works out much the same as "Speed Dial".
It's a decent browser, but I doubt I'll ever go back.
Dude, I love Oprah.
Wow, I need to L2Resize.
opera amazing browser but gametrailers is givin me trouble on the front page of dtoid
Rez is awesome... in any incarnation.
Never used Opera. I used Netscape forever and then moved on to Firefox. I don't really have any complaints with Firefox, it runs crazy fast on my rig. I might try opera on one of the other computers here though.
I read it as 'Why i love opera" as in the music, not the browser. So when I saw the post title I was like "wow, how did Rez make him start listening to opera?"
I used Opera years ago when it obviously ran faster than Internet Explorer on my dial-up. I agree completely about the mouse gestures. One of the first extensions I got for Firefox was this, which is even better than Opera's gestures.
Opera is a good browser, because from all accounts I've heard Firefox for OSX is broken, and I'm going to assume that you use OSX because you said that you used Safari. It's not a bad Browser for Windows either, but firefox is just so much more customizable, what with customizegoogle and adblock
Yeah, firefox is pretty weak on OSX. I wasn't really feeling it. But I'm really diggin Opera. When the next firefox update comes out I'll grab it and check it out. I love firefox's customization, and I think Opera severly lacks in that department, but otherwise it's great.
Love Rez HD, it has become one of my favorite games ever.
I run with IE7 bitchez!!! That's right browser fanboys, I'm sticking with MS!!!! Why? Cause it's already there.
They all work about the same for me. Seriously, no improvement to be found on either Firefox or Opera.
I dunno why, but whatever. IE FTW for me, even though I'm sure the others are actually superior. Runs lighting fast for me.
@EDS
That's the beauty of IE... that FTW attitude will one day suddenly turn into WTF when it destroys your computer.
@EDS
Enjoy your virus'.
