What is it with bringing back movies/series from the 80s and giving them all black jumpsuits?

The one thing i enjoyed about GI JOE when I was young was the fact that the characters were so vibrant, colorful, albeit some were ridiculously 80s wacky, but whatever, at least they all dont look like they shop at the fucking XMEN bargain bin jumpsuit store.

Fuck Hollywood, fuck em right in the eyes.

I understand that being a military organization they'd be wearing uniforms, but yeah... At least give us some nods to the original. General Hawk played by Dennis Quaid is good casting though.

I'm liking Dennis Quaid as Hawk, and you pretty much can't go wrong with masked ninjas, but Destro?! Come on, man. That's just a travesty. His only distinguishing characteristic was that he worse a mask (or had a metal head, I don't know which), and now that's been taken away.

It's nice to see they managed to wedge in a hispanic character to force multi-culturalism simply because there was none before.

Just a note that they have said that these aren't their only uniforms/clothing worn during the movie. They have said that you can expect to see clothing/uniforms similar to the 80s cartoon versions as well.
