This is the second Friday in a row I get Mushman to do all the writing for me. I think I might as well go ahead and make him my Friday guy. What do you guys think?

And now, a post from Mr. Friday himself, Mushman:

Today’s choice can be seen as a departure from the usual songs chosen this week, indeed the song that closely resembles this is the song chosen yesterday, yes, once again the song can be interpreted to be grounded in the genre of ‘dance’. However this song has a unique edge of the previous songs chosen in the fact that it has a rather lengthy ’build’, starting off with a hip-hop based beat. Then building into more of a tune that is expected from the dance genre.

Kim Moyes (born September 15, 1976) is one half of a Sydney electronica two-piece, The Presets. He plays keyboard and drums. He also played Moog synthesizer for Sydney band Prop. Moyes is also in the band The Dissociatives with Daniel Johns of Silverchair and producer Paul Mac. His producing credits include, but are not limited to The Valentinos (now Lost Valentinos) and The Cops, both Sydney based bands. Moyes played the vibraphone on the soundtrack to the Australian film Somersault, with Sydney-based band Decoder Ring. Kim also played marimba on the Powderfinger song The Metre, from their album Odyssey Number Five. Moyes works under the alias K.I.M (Kimberly Isaac Moyes) and makes original music and remixes. His solo release "System Breakdown" only released in Japan, however is easily bought online.

The Presets are fucking incredible, one of my favourite bands no doubt. Good job, thumbs up.
