I'm not going to mention the Tyra stuff that has infected the c-blogs today. I've made my feelings known, and that's that. The end.
Anyway, I've gotten a lot of great suggestions for bands. I may end up having to put more than one band a day for the rest of the week. There's just so many good options. I could use a theme for next week though.
OK, today was a no-brainer.
Although only recording three albums, Nirvana is just as popular today as they ever were. Responsible for bringing alternative music to the masses along with other bands during the grunge era, Nirvana made it cool to be different. Look, do I really need to put this band's history of all bands. You know the story. And sorry, but I've got Fallout 3 on pause behind me and I'm eager to get to playing. I'll make up for this with extra videos.

This band is single-handedly responsible for utterly destroying any worthwhile sense of music or fashion my generation could have managed. If Courtney Love wasn't such a virulent-looking hellbeast, I'd shake her hand on the basis that she might have killed Kurt.
And nothing gives you the right to mumble through a David Bowie cover. Not even heroin. That man honestly makes me wish for the existence of Hell so that I could sleep well with the knowledge that he's in constant torment and agony.
