Earlier today, my friend mushman suggested that I add more content to dTunes. I quickly retaliated with a half-cooked salmon. While I was beating the British accent out of him, I began thinking, he may be right after all. So here it is folks, the rebirth of dTunes.

And this brings me to my next point. I think it may be time to restate my intentions and what my vision of this series is. This is, first and foremost, a community run blog, I'm just the guy who puts it all together. You guys suggest themes, songs, and so on. I have no idea what to put tomorrow, so I'm counting on you guys. Don't forget, this is your blog, I just write it.

Ad now, the theme. Simply put, songs featured this week are Ska remakes of older songs. That's really it. Ska remakes. Get to it.

Today's band: Reel Big Fish

Reel Big Fish gained mainstream recognition in the mid-to-late 1990s, during the third wave of ska with the release of the album Turn the Radio Off. They have since been the favorite band of hipsters and posers alike (just kidding). After 16 years, lead singer and guitarist Aaron Barrett is the only member who has been in every one of the band's numerous lineups.
