As week eight of dTunes draws to a close, I want to leave you with a few stray thoughts:
*Most highschoolers have horrible tastes in music.
*I'm never doing a rap theme again. Too far out of my comfort zone.
*I really need to learn to play drums. Also polka.
*Friday nights alone suck.
*I need to pick up a FNF game badly. It's a shame I'm so damn cheap.
*I need more productive and self-esteem boosting hobbies. Speaking of which, how much do unicycles cost?
I need suggestions for next week's theme. And when you leave suggestions, please leave example songs to give me an idea of what you are talking about.
I just had to do a Radio documentary on DJ Shadow at University. I'd never heard of him before I started the project, but I did learn alot about him. He's done alot in the music industry. And his stuff isn't half bad.
You just have to have a more open mind when it comes to music. There's no point in you doing a Music blog otherwise.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
How bout extremely long songs next week?
Rush - 2112 20:35
Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence 42:04
Jethero Tull - Thick as a Brick Part One 22:45 and part 2 21:05
How's that?
