Well, we have a new President. Cool. Who gives a shit? I'll tell you who: red states.

I go to a Catholic high school in southern Louisiana, and people were going ape shit. Well, the white people were anyway. But does it really matter? I couldn't care less as long as the economy gets better. I think everyone in red states are overreacting. It's really irritating for people like me who know that the President is not in fact the end all, be all of our government. And besides, since when have politicians lived up to their campaign promises anyway?

Well, sorry to vent on you guys, it's been an irritating day.

I still need songs and themes, so get to thinking. NOW!

I don't even know what to say about this video. Just..................wow........

I hear Obama won. Is this true? I think I'll go blog about it now.

Yay, I love that song. Thanks for taking one of my suggestions.

Umm, theme for next week? How about...uhh...songs sang by computerized/electronic voices?

I like Palidi's suggestion... "Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger" and "Radiohead - Fitter Happier" are the only two songs I know of like that though.

As another suggestion, based on the election results, I'd suggest the theme of change: Songs that change drastically in tempo or rhythm, songs about change, songs that have changed their meaning based on the context, etc., etc. No suggestions for that one though other than "System of a Down - B.Y.O.B." for changing it's pace throughout.

@DynamicSheep:
I have a few that work for yours(and for mine, but they are mostly from one group).

I'd actually like to vouch for DynamicSheep's before mine because of the recent events. Or you could hold on to that one for Obama's inauguration day-week, your call Ron.

Yeah, I think I'll leave the change theme until inauguration week. Since this week was election week and everything. Nice idea though.

A nice theme would be something I can talk about, maybe throw in a little something. I don't like just posting a video. I like to write, give you a little extra. So "songs with computer voices" would be a difficult subject to blog about. And don't forget, videos are important too. So a visual theme is always an option.

@Ron

Well, you could still talk about the lyrics, whether its a "male" or "female" voice, cleanliness of the voice, and other aspects of the song too. You can also compare them to the ones earlier in the week. I'm just saying, it can be done.
